Outings Directions
The Lytle Creek area will be the subject of the Temecula Valley Prospectors
June outing. Meeting time will be saturday morning at 8 AM, we will rally up
along Sierra Ave., this is the road into Lytle Creek. There is a Sierra Ave.
offramp on the 15 FWY. just south of its junction with Hwy 215 in Devore.
Loog to your GPAA guidebooks for the approach to the SB-Able claim.
We will orient ourselves with the 2 GPAA claims in the area, however this will not be then focus of our outing. My intent is to explore several fallow claims along the upper lytle creek devide and a few along the San Andres Rift Zone. At One claim on the devide I have discovered an abandon adit and large quartz muck piles that had formerly been hidded in tall scrub brush.
Bring your Metal dectors for a general search, classifiers and pans for sampling. It will probably be very hot and there is not much shade. Call me for details if necessary.
